What Is SATANAMA Factory?
SATANAMA Lab is a project that upcycles yoga mats that are no longer used. SATANAMA Lab Online Store https://satanama-lab.com/ We wanted to create a fun way for more people to join our activities, so we are recruiting supporters to help make items at SATANAMA Factory! Let's chat while attaching fasteners, adding tags, and making things together 🪴 We have been holding sessions once a month since July 2025 and are delighted by the enthusiastic response. We hope the circle of upcycling will grow through SATANAMA Lab. Come enjoy making things and spending a Saturday afternoon together!
What SATANAMA Lab Does
We upcycle yoga mats that have reached the end of their original life into new products, making use of their material and shape. Discarded yoga mats are one source of environmental burden. We make a variety of products with the hope of spreading a more earth-friendly way of life and widening the range of actions people can take. We believe upcycling can be kind not only to the planet, but also to ourselves. How did you feel when you first bought your yoga mat? For some people, it may have marked a new step or the beginning of something new. SATANAMA Lab upcycles mats full of those feelings. Through difficult times and happy ones, we have practiced on these mats. They hold our memories. It feels a little sad to simply throw away a yoga mat that has been there for our everyday changes and growth. Through upcycling, we hope to create a way of life that is kind to the earth and to ourselves.
