At SATANAMA Lab, we upcycle yoga mats that are no longer used to make original merchandise and promotional gifts. This time, CARNIVAL WORKS commissioned us to make custom key holders. CARNIVAL WORKS became interested in our upcycling activities and connected with the ideas and background behind our work, which led to a conversation about making these items. CARNIVAL WORKS is also involved in upcycling. We were very happy to share our values and approaches. The key holders are upcycled items made from yoga mat material. We used materials in a variety of colors and textures, making them fun even to look at together. Choosing which one to take is part of the enjoyment. Because every yoga mat has its own character, even items in the same shape have a different appearance.
